Murphy Roofing and Construction · Residential Re-Shingles
From brittle old layers to tight new courses. I walk the roof first, quote it free, and we leave the yard the way we found it.

Most of the eleven reviews on my Google profile come from jobs like this one: a house that needed its roof done, done once. Tear-off down to the deck, bad wood swapped, underlayment rolled tight, and architectural shingle nailed for wind country.
The finish matters as much as the field. Ridge lines that run straight, flashing that sheds instead of catches, and a cleanup pass thorough enough that four separate reviewers brought it up on their own.
Down to the deck
The old layers come all the way off so the deck gets inspected, not buried. Rot and soft spots are fixed before anything new goes down.
Every era of house
Farmhouses, turret-topped two-stories, split levels, new builds. We have shingled all of them, and the photos on this page are ours.
Financing available
A roof rarely fails on payday. Financing is available, so the fix does not have to wait on the savings account.
The cleanup habit
Tarps down, debris hauled, lawn walked before we pull off the job. It is the single most repeated compliment in our reviews.
How a roof actually goes on
Drip edge on the eave, green chalk lines snapped straight, shingles laid bottom-up with the joints offset, and every nail buried under the course above it. Watch it happen, then click to run it again.
Snapped, laid, nailed. My crew, since 2012.

How long does a re-shingle take?+
Most houses are measured in days, not weeks, once material lands. Weather sets the schedule out here more than anything else.
Will you fix the deck under the old shingles?+
Yes. Tear-off exposes the wood, and anything soft or split gets replaced before underlayment goes on. That is the point of tearing off instead of layering over.
Do I get an estimate before any work starts?+
Always, and it is free. You get the number and the scope first. Nothing starts until you say so.
Shingles curling, granules in the gutter, or a roof just past its years? Have me walk it, free.
More from the same crew
Tell me what the roof is doing and I will come look, no charge. If it has years left, I say so and you keep your money.
